Composting with DOTI Solid Waste

Happy Earth Month! Throughout April, we will be partnering with the
City and County of Denver to share earth-friendly tips and information
on the city’s solid waste services. Stay tuned!
Participating in Denver’s free weekly compost service is one of the best
ways to reduce your environmental impact! In addition to creating
healthy compost, putting food scraps and yard waste in your compost
cart prevents organic materials from reaching landfills, where they
would break down and be emitted as a greenhouse gas.
Compost service is available to all Denver solid waste customers at no
additional cost. Visit your Denver Utilities Online account at
Denvergov.org/utilitiesonline or call 311 to opt in to compost service
today!
